About Inder Vhatwar & Haus of Rage

Inder Vhatwar’s journey is rooted in Mumbai’s vibrant culture and strengthened through global creative exposure at the London College of Fashion. With expertise in visual merchandising and experiential design, he brings a unique vision that connects fashion, identity, and community.

In 2009, Inder founded D’Kloset, a bold fashion label built on pride and inclusivity. A year later, the Bandra flagship store emerged as one of India’s first openly LGBTQ+ fashion spaces — becoming a symbol of representation and authenticity. Its cultural impact reached national and global media, including BBC UK and leading publications.

The Rise of RAGE

To extend this spirit beyond fashion, Inder created RAGE by D’Kloset — a nightlife movement merging drag, music, performance, and style. What started locally soon became a national phenomenon, giving India’s queer nightlife a fearless identity.

Haus of Rage – A New Era

After the retail store’s closure, Inder continued curating high-end inclusive events across India’s top hospitality destinations: Sofitel BKC, InterContinental Marine Lines, Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt, The Lalit Andheri, Sea Princess Juhu, Host-Inn, The Beatle Hotel Powai, and more.

Today, under the banner of Haus of Rage, the journey continues stronger than ever. With a decade-long association with The Lalit Mumbai and expanding footprints in Thane, Pune, Jaipur, and upcoming Navi Mumbai, Haus of Rage stands as a premier queer nightlife brand in India.
